Adults And Why They Get Airbrush Tattoos

I wanted to write today about temporary tattoos and mainstream society.  You see tattoos arent what they used to be, they used to be the mark of a social degenerate whos only purpose in life was to cause trouble.  But in the past decade or so tattoos have become  an extremely common part of a both men and womens bodies.

This, in my opinion, also explains the explosion of the popularity in airbrush tattoos. When you setup up at a show you will not believe the amount of adults that get an airbrush tattoo! Now compared to the kids that come in the adults will seem far and few between.  But nonetheless it is still interesting to see.

So why does this help you and you airbrush tattoo business?

Well let me give you my thoughts.  Probably about 50% of the adults that come in want to “test drive” a tattoo before they get one.  So what if you put a sign outside your booth saying “Are you wanting to get a real tattoo? Come in here first and try out a cheaper, painless and temporary version first!”.  Now I have never done this, I dont know how well it will work, but it is worth a try! (post a comment with your results if you try it).

Trust me, when you get started all you will hear from the adults is “I just want to see if I would like something on my arm there” or “Just want to see if I like it” and then when the adults with a real tattoo come in they say in, like a 6-year old whose dad is a firefighter tone of voice “I got real ones”.

So just keep in mind you will be helping these adults find there path in the tattoo world, who knows you may be the reason someone gets a 30 in dragon on their back!
